Tooltips are used to display the information regarding an element when you hover over that element. Tooltips are best when you want to display the extra information without changing your design elements. When you take your mouse cursor over an element, say link or a button, a small box appears over that element with extra and optional information regarding that element. Tooltips can be more user friendly if they are used with proper effects using jQuery.
Most of the webmasters use these tooltips to display their Facebook and Twitter followers when you hover over the Facebook or Twitter button on a website. Similarly you can make use of these tooltips for your own websites.
Today I have collected 20 best and free jQuery Tooltip Plugins for your use.
