CSS3 has amazing powers. Now we can achieve almost any effect using CSS3 only that we used to achieve using images in the past. One of the common trend in webdesign nowadays is 3D ribbon effect. If you are reading this article, I assume you already know what 3D ribbons actually are. If you don’t know about these ribbons then look at the examples listed below and you will get to know about these ribbons.

I always try to minimize the use of images while designing a website or a WordPress theme. Here are few benefits of using CSS3 instead of images:

  • Lesser images means faster loading time. When you minimize the use of images using CSS3, your website will take less amount of time to load and Google will show love for your website.
  • Easy of use. Using CSS3 only you can easily change the color scheme and styling of your website.
